ACCOUNTS

Payment’s are processed on the day before or on the day of arrival – unless prior arrangement has been made with management. Surcharges apply for credit card payments (see Credit Cards). Invoices are issued on departure.

AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING

All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning for your comfort. For energy efficiency and environmental care, please set the temperature to 24 degrees. If you encounter any issues with the system or need adjustments, simply dial 91 on your room phone to contact reception for assistance. Setting the temperature too low may cause the system to freeze and become inoperable, potentially incurring extra repair charges.

There is an ATM located – ANZ bank, to the right of the hotel as you walk outside the hotel.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN

In case of an emergency, calmy leave your room, and gather at the rear of the car park. It is important that your familiarize yourself with the emergency  instructions on the back of your door.

Fernando’s at Regent Cafe is on the ground floor in the main building. Reservations are welcome.

DRY CLEANING

There is dry cleaning available, please see reception for details

EMERGENCY

Your safety is our utmost concern.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, proceed to the nearest emergency assembly area (evacuation information is on the rear of the front door).

Please advise reception of an emergency but always dial 000 for emergencies immediately if required.

FACILITIES  

Our facilities are complimentary for all guests staying with us. Guests are invited to relax by the seasonal outdoor swimming pool, perfect for those warm days.

HAIRDRYERS

A hairdryer is located on the wall next to your bathroom vanity. 

HOUSEKEEPING

We wish to advise that the servicing is of your room completed Monday – Saturday. If you do not to have your room services, please turn the do not disturbed sign out on your door. For longer stays, we complete a full service on your room every 4th day. If required, we can gladly provide fresh towels and extra amenities at reception for you.

ICE

Ice for your beverages can be obtained at the bar. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate larger quantities of ice for items like your esky. However, you can conveniently purchase ice at the Ampol 24/7 service station located on the corner of William and George Street.

IRON/IRONING BOARD

An iron and ironing board are located in the wardrobe of your room.

LAUNDRY

Our guest laundry is coin operated. Coin’s are available at reception. Laundry Power can also be purchased at reception.

LUGGAGE STORAGE

This service is available to all guests at no charge. Please contact reception to make arrangements.

MAINTENANCE

Should any appliances, fittings or services require attention, please contact reception and we will address the issue as soon as possible.

PETS

Assistance animals are permitted onto the property and accommodation areas; Additional cleaning fees do apply if required.

PILLOWS

Spare pillows are located at the top of your wardrobe.

The local post office is located at 150 East Street.

Should the matter be life threatening, please dial’0’ to get an outside line, then ‘000’ for police, ambulance, or fire attendance or dial 000 from your own device.

Safe’s are available from reception if required.

SECURITY

All rooms are fitted with security devices. We recommend that you ensure that you have locked your door and placed the latch over before retiring for the night. For additional safety, we recommend that you also lock your vehicle and that no valuables are left within sight.

Guest Room Party Policy:

Parties in guest rooms are strictly prohibited, and exceeding occupancy limits is considered a party. We may take immediate action to ensure other guests’ comfort, which can include eviction with forfeiture of all payments. As a registered guest, you are responsible for any damages caused by your group.

SMOKING

All rooms are designated Non-Smoking. Smoking will only be allowed outside the building. Smoking within our motel rooms is considered to be malicious damage. If a room is found to have been used for smoking by the guests or invitees of the guests a minimum charge of $200.00 will be charged to the guests account or credit card supplied at check-in to compensate for: cleaning of carpets, upholstery and walls.

SMOKE DETECTORS

All rooms are fitted with smoke detectors which are monitored from a central fire panel. Should you accidentally trigger your smoke detector please contact reception straight away. Triggering a smoke detector will also trigger adjoining rooms in your section of the motel. Attempting to disconnect or tamper with detectors will also trigger them.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

Your room’s main entrance door has an evacuation plan and assembly area information.

In case of emergency:

  • Report smoke to reception at extension 91.
  • Wait for notification about evacuation.
  • Check door handle: if hot, don’t open; if not, assess for smoke before exiting.
  • Take your key; it may be safer to return to your room.
  • If leaving, walk calmly, close doors, and return if the hallway is smoky.
  • If staying in room: don’t break windows, seal door with wet towels, turn off air conditioning/venting, wet doors/walls, and cover face with a wet cloth.
